Claire Zaglauer's Bio:

Claire Zaglauer is working as an educator abroad and studying bilingual education in China. With both roles in pedagogy as well as school leadership, she has worked extensively in bilingual and IB education.  With expertise in HR management, professional development, staff coaching and logistics in schools, Claire has successfully managed a wide variety of projects. Claire works well in fast-paced environments in roles with higher responsibility and management duties.

Claire Zaglauer's Experience:

  • Foreign Language Teacher at Suzhou Industrial Park Xingwan Public Elementary School

    Teaching English to 3rd and 4th grade classes in a wonderful public school in Suzhou's new SIP area. Classes are interactive, visual and focus on oral pronunciation and Western culture.

  • Assistant Principal at The New York French American Charter School

    Day-to-day operations of a French-Bilingual Charter School with Kindergarten-4th grade. Supervisor of teachers and support staff. Active planning and project management for pedagogical and curricular needs of the school. Focus in English Language Learners and Special Education Students.

  • Teacher at The NYC Department of Education

    Taught many subjects but mainly Algebra and English as a Second Language. K-12 in Harlem and the South Bronx. Taught in traditional and non-traditional settings.
